Keeping
in view, the beautiful nature environment and the adornment of the
temple on the hillock, it was desired by large number of devotees
to build "MAHADWARA RAJAGOPURAM", the PADUKA of the Lord
Almighty, with five stories extending to a total height of 100
feet, on this hillock.
The
Govt. of Karnataka, accorded administrative approval, in their
order number R.D. / 31 / MUZ-99 / dated 30th August 1999, for
construction of MAHADWARA RAJAGOPURAM, at the tendered cost
of 28.5 lakhs for civil works only, with the condition that the
cost of the project should be met out of public contribution being
raised by the Sri. H.M.V. Temple Rajagopuram Nirmana
Samithi,
constituted by commissioner for Religious and Charitable
Endowments with an IAS officer as Chairman and Tahasildar,
Gundlupet as ex-officio Secretary cum Treasurer.
The
execution of the project has already been taken up (October 1999)
through the approved Contractor and the work is fast
progressing. Efforts are being made for generating finance
from public contribution as the temple has limited resources of
its own to meet the cost of this monumental project.
Since
the cost of the project is considerably high it would be very
difficult to meet the target with smaller contribution from the
devotees. It is imperative that the Samithi is assisted with
generous contributions and this humble appeal is placed before you
for kind consideration to donate liberally for this noble cause.
We
do hope that you will definitely avail of this opportunity of
taking part in this rare and sacred cause during our life time in
accomplishment of this monument and be recipient of Lord
Srinivasas' Grace for all times to come.
